I am a licensed architect and interior architectural designer with a passion for creating consequential experiences for people through design. My Bachelor of Architecture is from Auburn University.  While in school, I completed several internships with varied areas of focus. Notably, I received commercial design exposure during my first college internship with Gensler’s retail studio in the Atlanta office. This experience focused my interest in pursuing commercial design upon entering the profession. 

 

After graduating in 2016, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee to work as an architectural designer at STG Design. During my time at STG, I have worked with both interiors and architectural teams, holistically developing my technical abilities for a wide range of project types and scopes. I work closely with the firm principal and newly appointed CEO, David Johnston, primarily focusing on conceptual design from project proposal through design development. David and other colleagues have provided  impactful mentorship to develop my confidence in creating meaningful design that betters the human experience.  

 

In addition to my design and production work at STG, I was appointed to the Strategic Planning Committee by the company board and CEO to redefine the firm’s vision and mission. While on the committee, I was elected by my peers as 1 of 3 initiative directors to collaborate across projects for more effective implementation. This experience provided invaluable insight to firm operations. 

 

I moved back to my hometown of Baltimore in late 2019 to be close to family, and began working as an interior architect at Patrick Sutton Interior Design. I have grown my experience with high end residential and hospitality work.

As I look forward in my career, I seek to blend my technical and design capabilities across both architectural design and interior architecture. I am passionate about growing a worldly understanding of human need, and hope to create designs that improve lives at all scales.
